Okeechobee, FL (August 1, 2023) – Heatherwood Construction Company will start construction soon on a modern rustic lodge at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch in Okeechobee.
The lodge, which is near a small, picturesque lake, is unique in its construction, using timber in the ceiling trusses as well as in gables and columns outside the two-story, 30,000 square foot building. A signature design feature of the lodge will be a stone fireplace inside with a large lounge area, dining room and kitchen. There will also be six guest rooms for private member use to extend the experience.
Additionally, the lodge will feature a pro shop for all sporting needs while on property. Other amenities include an inside and outside bar for entertainment.
Quail Creek Sporting Ranch is an outdoor shooting destination offering public shooting amenities and private hunting memberships. They specialize in quail hunting and winged shoots.
