Bonita Springs, FL (April 25, 2023) – Based on the turnout for the much-anticipated April 12 groundbreaking, an excited group of Bonita Terra residents can’t wait for their new clubhouse to be built by Heatherwood Construction Company.

And they should be excited. The 12,382-foot clubhouse will feature a grand ballroom with a stage, dance floor, outdoor bar, food service area with catering kitchen, canopied entryways, large vestibule and ballroom porch. Other project amenities include a 3,600-square-foot resort style pool and spa, with restrooms, outdoor decking and landscaping, along with a storage building.

About 100 residents of the 55-and-over manufactured home community were on hand to hear from those involved in the project construction and management, specifically Senior Project Manager Rick Mercer and David Ellis from Heatherwood Construction, Bonita Terra General Manager Mark Nicklas (with Murex Properties), along with Kristy Hayden and Steve Adler from Murex Properties.

Nicklas told the crowd that once construction is complete in about 12 months, the residents will have a state-of-the-art facility to enjoy.

“It’s world class and something you can be very proud of,” Nicklas said. “We are here to beautify the community and make it great. We hope to continue to make this better and better for you.”
