There are a total of seven steps detailed in the Heatherwood Construction Proven Process starting with Preconstruction Consulting through to Project Close Out and Warranty.

Seven Steps to Success

Preconstruction Consulting
  1. Lead OAC Meetings
  2. Preconstruction Scheduling
  3. Coordinate Owners and Contractors
Accurate Preconstruction Budgeting
  1. Provide budgets at Conceptual, Design Development, and Permit/Bid Stages
  2.  Involve key subcontractors in budgeting
  3. Utilize a large database of similar projects
  4. Monitor trends in material and construction costs
Constructability and Value Engineering
  1. HCC’s an on-staff reviewer has over 40 years of experience and Architecture degree
  2. Present alternatives at each stage of design
  3. Highly experienced in value engineering options
Permitting Ease
  1. On-staff Permit Coordinator trained in all local jurisdictions
  2. Provide a list of all pre-permit requirements for each jurisdiction
  3. Maintain long-term relationships with permit expediters
Project Kick-off
  1. Early identification and/or preorder of long lead items
  2. Develop site logistics plans
  3. Coordinate with utility companies on owner’s behalf
  4. Provide accurate estimates from large, qualified subcontractor base
Construction
